DIVE with us for a moment and imagine yourself sitting on the jetty of a lake shore overlooking the glittering, sparkling water, the SUN radiates a pleasant warmth and envelops you in a pleasant feeling of security. Your gaze observes how the Water on the lake shore, approaching and retreating again, making a splashing sound every time it approaches the stones. Your gaze wanders further and observes a swan preening its majestic white plumage and lake while you drink a cool sip of fresh water. You notice how the water in your mouth already has the effect of refreshment - begins to unfold and feel the lightness of life - the Summer recovery! 

IDEAS FOR YOUR STAY

1. DAY

You don't have to go diving on the first day - but you can do it if you feel like it.

We recommend that you start your holiday comfortably and enjoy a boat tour on Lake Millstatt to experience. Depending on your preference, you can long or the short route choose. (45min - 1.5 h)

Why? - The lake has a calming effect on the mind and body. After a long drive | Arrival, we think you should arrive first.

2. DAY

Hiking at Stubeck

After you have had time to settle in on the first day, we would like to offer you a hike for both beginner as well as advanced suggest.

The path leads you to the "Stubeck" - the "local mountain" of the artist town of Gmünd in Carinthia. High up, after a successful climb, you can enjoy a breathtaking outlook about the entire Lieser-Maltatal. The view makes you think for a moment how small everything looks from above. This makes this hike an ideal excursion to clear your mind from everyday life and to be able to lie down in bed at the end of the day, perhaps with one or two muscle tensions, and catch yourself realising that today is the happiness in life could breathe.

3. DAY

Kölnbreinsperre & Malta Hochalmstraße

On the 3rd day, we would like to invite you to a gigantic highlight our area - The Kölnbreinsperre  in Maltatal with the connected Hochalmstraße Maltatal.

The Kölnbreinsperre is the largest reservoir in Austria  and the Hochalmstraße next to the Nockalm Hochalmstraße one of the most winding roads, Filled with crystal clear, turquoise-blue water, a cool summer breeze and the Skywalk (only for the very brave), the dam offers an ideal starting point for an easy hike into the deep, alpine and floral Maltatal. Due to its altitude, the excursion destination is ideal perfect for hot summer days and doesn't make you sweat too much
