This is us - your hosts

Since December 1, 2023 we live, Robin & Mirjam, with our son Milan in Gmünd in Kärnten.

We spent many years looking for the right house and preparing ourselves for what was to come. Wanted - Found!

As new owners from Pension Sonnenheim our dream became reality.

For a long time we had the desire to live in beautiful Carinthia and so we can now warmly welcome you as our guests and not only offer you a pleasant place to sleep, but also plan your individual vacation for and with you and accompany you for a little while!

Why did we choose this house?

When we visited the house in Austria, we fell in love. A small guesthouse, with parts that have already been modernized and renovated and parts that are still open to our own innovation and creativity. The beautiful surroundings, the alpine landscape, the deep connection to nature, in which we like to spend our free time, all played their part.

How we got our room names

We love Austria - especially Carinthia. The landscape, the cuisine, the people - quite simply - we immediately felt at home and in the right place at the right time when we chose Pension Sonnenheim. In order to give you the feeling of "at home" from start to finish, we have chosen names that have their origins in the region's mountains and rivers.

Our life for and with hospitality

True to the motto "Our philosophy & values combined with the colors of nature" make the overall package of our guesthouse something special. This is reflected above all in the many wooden elements combined with the natural tones throughout the house. We love where we are and what we do!

We always try to discover new things for ourselves and our guests in our free time, so that we can offer not only the classic holiday destinations, but also insider tips.
